The music of Divas On Fire is a smoldering blend of blues stoked with embers of soul. Listen and you’ll hear the power and harmony of six voices blazed with the influences from Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Bobby Blue Bland to Susan Tedeschi. Watch and you’ll see these women burn it up at festivals such as Northwest Arkansas “Bikes Blues and BBQ” or headlining the “Greater Ozarks Blues Festival“ of Springfield MO. Presenting sets of original music, the six vocalists are Rachel "Brick" Fields, Dawn Cate, Liz Lottmann, Ocie Fisher and Tori Rudolph. The band includes drummer Diane Rudolph, keyboardist Lala Craig, guitarist Eef, and bassist Alma Blecher .
Their collective history includes a Sam Phillips recording artist, National and International touring artists, some Northwest Arkansas Music Awards winners, several Arkansas competition winners for the International Blues Competition, an Arkansas Blues Hall of Famer. The name Divas on Fire is more of a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that they have all been called musical divas, but in reality each puts the music and each other first.
